Hello all!

So I bought this moisturizer awhile back (probably around the end of August) and I have to say I am not too impressed. I have super dry skin, which is getting worse by the day this winter and this is doing nearly nothing to combat it. It’s pretty pricey (30-40 dollars) so I expected a lot. The most annoying part is that its feels so thick going on, which is incredible deceiving because it really does not hold up throughout the day and I always end up with dry spots. Overall, I would definitely not recommend, especially for the price!

Neutrogena Review: Pink Grapefruit

I have moved on from morning burst facial cleanser to something a little more intensive for my skin. I had been going (well, am still cleaning up) some minor breakouts, and needed something stronger and more acidic.

So I thought I’d try out the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit skin care line!

Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub: facial cleanser with the salcylic acid built into it as acne treatment, but not so much as to be completely drying. (I’ve been supplementing the Clean and Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent as needed/for spot treatment to dry out my breakups.) You can really feel the grapefruit beads cleansing your skin!

Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes (pink grapefruit for acne prone skin): I’m on the fence about this one. I had run out of my all time favorite, the Simple brand cleansing wipes for sensitive skin, and needed something fast. These were on sale. They are much tougher on my skin than I thought that they would be, especially because I’ve already used and loved the grapefruit facial cleanser. I will finish the pack of them, but feel as though the acidic extract is too much for a wipe, and leaves me with a minor burning feeling and need for a cooling moisturizing treatment.

Joining the Striking Skin Care Club

Hey everyone!

So I’m Taylor’s best friend (and yes, to clear it up now we’re both Taylor’s lol) and we thought it’d be fun for both of us to do this together! Both of us love skin care stuff that’s both helpful and amazingly scented so I can’t wait to start reviewing some stuff :)

Skin Profile:

I have incredibly dry skin. Even in the summer, I’m battling dry spots and flakes.

I have to be very careful with what exfoliants I use because my skin is so sensitive.

Moisturizing is key for me. If you have dry and/or sensitive skins stay tuned for some really amazing products I’ve found.

I am a HUGE lushie. Although most of my face stuff is from Philosophy, Lush has great body stuff and fun bath things for when you want to treat yourself :)

I can’t wait for this to take off, make sure to follow and keep an eye out!

I’ve been thinking about making this blog for a whiiiiiiile. I’m just generally very interested in skin care, products, research, and shelling out advice on all three to my friends. So why not bring my opinions on it to the internet?

Skin Profile:

combination (more towards the oily side, especially in the summer)

j’adore exfoliants

LUSH cosmetics is ahead on the list of faves. though I try everything!

love bath products and just pampering in general;)

This blog is going to be a review of sorts! come to me with questions on anything skin/bath related. love meeting people with similar interests!

I'm Taylor, and I'm a skin care addict.
